Our athletes have returned from Zagreb with outstanding results from the Croatian Jiu-Jitsu Cup 2025, one of the most important national tournaments in both GI and NO-GI disciplines. Mizfits Jiu Jitsu Academy Split once again confirmed the quality of its training and the continuous progress of its competitors.
Results of our fighters:
- 🥇 Andrija Košta – wins gold in the Boys No-Gi / U16 / -69 kg division, with two solid victories by points.
- 🥇 Nikola Ercegović – dominant performance and first place in the Men Jiu-Jitsu / Adults / White / -77 kg division, with three wins by points.
- 🥇🥇 Frane Mišetić – double champion!
Took gold in the Men Jiu-Jitsu / Adults / Brown / -94 kg and another gold in the Men No-Gi / Adults / Brown / -94 kg, including a quick submission victory. Frane earned the No-Gi gold in the professional brown/black -94kg category without conceding a single point. - 🥈 Mateo Bilođerić – silver medal in the Men No-Gi / Adults / White / -94 kg division, after strong and hard-fought matches.
- 🥇 Daria Boduljak – wins gold in the Female No-Gi / Adults / White / +70 kg division, with two secure wins by points.
Our team was led throughout the entire event by head coach Ivo “Frusta” Vatavuk, whose clear instructions, calm demeanor, and tactical coaching from the corner played a key role in the composed and focused performances of our athletes.
Our competitors demonstrated composure, discipline, and technical readiness throughout the competition day. Match control, smart pacing, and unwavering focus until the final second resulted in multiple medals and valuable experience for future growth.
