Eight fighters, one goal

This weekend, our club is traveling to Sarajevo for the Submission Grappling Championship 9 – No-Gi Adult Master & Kids, one of the most exciting regional grappling tournaments, once again bringing together a large number of competitors across various divisions and weight classes.

The weigh-in is scheduled for Friday, April 17, 2026, at Fitness Skenderija – Ledena Dvorana, while the matches will take place on Saturday, April 18, 2026, at the “Ramiz Salčin” sports hall in Sarajevo. The tournament starts at 10:00 AM, and our fighters are ready to represent Mizfits at another major international competition.

Who is competing for Mizfits?

At Submission Grappling Championship 9, our club will be represented by a strong and diverse team of competitors:

  • Josip Jurij Boduljak – Adult Male No-Gi / Beginner / -66 kg
  • Luka Elez – Adult Male No-Gi / Beginner / -66 kg
  • Marin Vidan – Adult Male No-Gi / Beginner / -70 kg
  • Andrija Košta – Adult Male No-Gi / Beginner / -70 kg
  • Vice Radonić – Adult Male No-Gi / Beginner / -77 kg
  • Corbin Turrell – Adult Male No-Gi / Beginner / -104 kg
  • Frane Mišetić – Adult Male No-Gi / Advanced / -94 kg
  • Daria Boduljak – Adult Female No-Gi / Beginner / -75 kg

In addition to their weight divisions, some of our fighters will also test themselves in the absolute divisions:

  • Vice Radonić – Adult Male Absolute No-Gi / Beginner
  • Corbin Turrell – Adult Male Absolute No-Gi / Beginner
  • Frane Mišetić – Adult Male Absolute No-Gi / Advanced

Coaching support

Our competition team will be led throughout the weekend by Ivo Vatavuk and Gordan Šabić, who will be there with the fighters during weigh-ins, preparation, and every match on the mats.

Submission Grappling Championship is known for its tough competition, dynamic matches, and excellent organization, and tournaments like this are the perfect opportunity to test our form, gain experience, and continue the competitive development of our fighters.

A new challenge is ahead of our team, and we are proud that Mizfits once again has strong representation on the international grappling scene. Every step onto the mat is a chance to learn, grow, and confirm the hard work put in during training every single day.
