As a white belt in a field of experienced competitors, Daria Boduljak placed fifth at the 2026 JJIF World No-Gi Jiu-Jitsu Championships in Zadar. Competing in the senior Adult -70 kg division, Mizfits’ first Croatian national-team athlete had three matches, recorded a win and finished just outside the medals.
How did Daria Boduljak reach fifth place?
In her first appearance for the Croatian national team, Daria opened the tournament against Andrea Watson of Canada. After the opening loss, Daria came back to beat Roxana Baljer of Hungary. Her final match was against Canada’s Aimee Fraser.
The official final table places Daria Boduljak in a shared fifth place in the Adult -70 kg division. Viktoria Rejzek of Austria won gold, Inga Boruch of Austria took silver, while Andrea Watson and Aimee Fraser won bronze for Canada.
